Borgo Petroro has 12 rooms and suites, 7 of which are available at the moment: the “Bastioni” Junior Suite on the ground floor (barrier-free); the “Ranieri” Royal Deluxe featuring a private Jacuzzi and sauna, located on the first floor; the “Torretta” Classic, the “Stanze del Duca” Royal Suite and the “Abate” Suite which are situated on the second floor, not to mention the “La Greppia” Family Suite, with independent access from the courtyard, which has its own private wellness area with Jacuzzi and sauna. Last but not least, the “Colombaia” Junior Suite, with independent access from the square. All the rooms vary in their furnishings, with unique antiques such as wrought-iron lamps, trompe l’oeil paintings and tapestry and recycled wooden furniture, in homage to an all-encompassing made in Italylook. All the suites overlook the surrounding countryside or the charming internal courtyard, with its characteristic smell of logs that once fed the public baker’s oven, and a stunning boundless horizon.
Every room has its own private bathroom and is provided with a hair-dryer, television, telephone, safe for ipad, electric kettle, mini-bar, wi-fi connection, coffee set and an alarm clock.
It all makes for an elegant and refined atmosphere, typical of a beautiful Umbrian villa, particularly cherished by Italian and international tourists.
The warm and welcoming atmosphere is also enhanced by the wooden pieces inlaid in the stone walls and the big open fireplaces in the lounges and reception rooms. In the Archbishop’s Lounge you can relax with a cup of tea, infusion or coffee (there is an interesting selection of blends and 16 varieties of coffee from all over the world), read a good book or play board games.
